What is Abramovich playing at? He seems to have initiated his very own rotational system.

He gets rid of the best manager Chelsea ever had - the special one - (6 trophies in 2 years was it?) and puts in the not so special one - Avram Grant.

Avram Grant nevertheless takes Chelsea to the Champions League final which they would have won if John Terry hadn't fallen over (Grant can't be blamed for that) - so Abramovich boots out Avram Grant (why didn't he boot out Terry?).

He replaces the not-so-special one with the Special Two - Big Filipe Scolari - but then decides he made a mistake and boots out the Special Two after just 6 months and is now waving large amounts of cash at Guus Hiddink - who is so special he can do two jobs at once apparently. Scolari must be wondering what he got himself into - although he did make 6 million quid out of it apparently.

Hiddink says : “I have to admit it’s a complicated situation involving the Russian national team and Chelsea,”

“I must say that this is an exceptional situation. If it was any other club aside from Chelsea my answer would be a straight ‘No’. But Chelsea is different because I have good relations with the owner (Russian Roman Abramovich).”

Will he still have good relations in 3 months time ? Or will he have a bigger bank balance ? My totally gratuitous advice - Guus you're on a Hiddink to nothing - "Take the money!" Chelsea probably won't win anything anyway this season, so why not?
